What are you doing when you're not at the coffee shop?: Spending time with my family, scrap booking, reading and writing (not as much as I used to, but I still try to fit it in in those rare moments of spare time!), spending time with the high school youth at my church (LOVE those guys!), watching bad reality TV ('tis my guilty pleasure), and hanging out with friends.
Favorite coffee shop menu item: First and foremost, scotcharoos are pretty much my most favorite thing on planet Earth. Secondly, I love Breakfast Blend in my 20 oz Being There mug, and thirdly I've recently been unable to stop eating the hummus plate multiple times a week.
Best Being There memory to date: There are some musicians who have been here who, for various reasons, have caused me to be 100% happy during the time that they're playing. There's just something indescribable about those nights. And any time that groups of people (large or small) meet here to hang out, it makes me super happy. Also, any all-staff gatherings that involve playing board games have been pretty unforgettable.

If you're left alone in charge of the background noise during your shift, what's coming out of the speakers? Some sort of fabulous play list including (but not limited to): Brenda Weiler, Wilco, Josh Ritter, Little Mojo, Erin McKeown, and Over the Rhine.
Your barista super power: Being able to make drinks with my eyes closed. Seriously. (I never joke around about lattes.) Also, being able to make customers appear from seemingly nowhere. It happens almost daily immediately after I make my breakfast or lunch.
*Random Question* When, where, and with whom did you eat your last pizza? Uhh...I don't actually remember, but there#39;s a very, very good chance that it was recently, at my parents' house, from Pizza Ranch, with Colonel Mustard and the candlestick.
